This is a beautiful example of a vintage 1930s Sterling Silver Persian Turquoise handmade Navajo belt. It is heavily detailed with repousse raised dimensional work and stamping.
It features one rectangular belt buckle with 5 turquoise stones, and 9 oval Conchos each with a turquoise stone, Conchos are connected with links. It is a lovely piece with a nice patina.
This belt is from an estate, of the wife of Harry Blake, who had been the Mayor of Alhambra CA, in the 1960s. His wife was an avid lifelong collector of Native American jewelry and artifacts. This piece was passed on to a family member.
